World Lean Network

ILE serves as the Israel representative of the Lean Global Network (LGN), which is composed of 18 institutes for research and study and dozens of learning partners across the globe.

LGN is a community of experienced Lean activists whose goal is to promote the Lean view of management throughout the world so as to make this a better world.  The community was founded by Jim Womack and Dan Jones in 1990. Partners in LGN come from all walks of life – industry, academia, research, health services, civil services, and NGO’s.  Member organizations of the network maintain close working and learning relationships in order to achieve more satisfactory ongoing work and learning; to enable individuals to actualize and create greater value; to minimize the use of resources; to influence the environment, and, of course – to improve the organization’s achievements and to raise the standard of living for the entire society.
